 This week I realized that pretty much everyone wears uggs and north faces. I mean they are not too ugly, I wear them sometimes. But, THAT'S NOT THE ONLY OUTFIT IN THE WORLD. In one day of school, I probably see about 80% of people wearing those, everyday. Yea, it's comfortable to wear but please, you have a closet full of other clothes....WEAR THEM. North faces are pretty old by now anyways. Next, this week i have interviewed people again about what they like, and what they don't like fashion wise. One person said, the thing that annoys her the most is when "guys wear the same sweatshirt and shoes everyday." Guys, I'm sure you have other clothes. Just because your mom bought you a new one doesn't mean its okay to wear it everyday for the next two months. Maybe you don't have much money, that's okay, just swap clothes with your friends. This can also apply to girls. Let's face it, money is tight these days, you can't always just go out and buy a new outfit, so try swapping your shirts, jewelry, pants, shoes, with your friends! Maybe your saying "but my friend wore that last week", well an outfit your friend wore, can look totally different on you if you make it your own. The next person I interviewed said that "I don't really care what girls wear they just can't look like they put on too much makeup." He's completely right. Girls if your going out, please don't go out looking like a clown. Putting pounds of bronzer on only makes you look dumb. It's winter, so obviously its fake, and your neck is a completely different color then your face. Putting on a bunch of eye shadow won't help either. The more makeup, the more you look fake. Natural is always the most prettiest.

 This week I have interviewed more people about there perspectives on fashion. I asked completely different types of people what their favorite style is and the responses I got back are: "Urban Look", "Beachy/Bland Style", and skirts, and a lot of scarfs! Once again I asked these people what annoys them the most about what guys wear, they all responded: "Guys who wear extremely tight jeans" I can't agree more with them. When guys are wearing such tight jeans, you look like your trying to be a girl. NEWSFLASH: YOUR A BOY, STOP WEARING YOUR JEANS SO TIGHT. Sometimes it makes me wonder if you guys lose blood circulation because there so tight? Anyway, I also asked them what is the most annoying thing girls wear. One person responded "noticeably overdoing it on makeup and when they constantly wear slutty tight clothes all the time when its not really the right place to wear all that stuff like in school." Once again, I completely agree with this person. Girls, you shouldn't be walking around with so much makeup on your face, you could be a clown. That's not attractive to anyone. You should also know the difference between school clothes and clubbing clothes. I'm pretty sure school isn't a club, so stop wearing club clothes to school, thanks. Another person who answered the question "what annoys you the most about what girls wear?" said that, "When i see girls wearing see through shirts with just a bandeau underneath." This person is completely correct. Bandeau's are for the summer, not the winter. Another person said that when girls wear heels in school is what annoys them the most about what girls wear in school. Girls, if you can't walk in heels don't think it will help if you wear them to school, you'll end up just looking like a baby whose learning how to walk. You shouldn't be wearing heels to school anyway, its S-C-H-O-O-L. Not a party. Lately I've noticed that a lot of celebrities have been wearing the color "nude", It gives anyone a natural, clean look. So next time your out shopping try on a nude shirt, or dress. This week I took a few shots of my own to give you guys a visual of appropriate everyday clothes.

 So when I was interviewing people last week, many of you asked about what would look good on you. So this week I am going to talk about what looks good with your skin tones, and eyes. If your pale skinned then wearing black clothing can be risky because you don't want to look Gothic. (unless your going for the goth look) You might want to try going for more of the light colors, and maybe even a red dress! It will give you an innocent look. If you have blue eyes try going for more aqua, turquoise and well any color blue shirt or sweater to make your eyes pop. If you have brown eyes you might wanna go for more of the dark mahogany colored shirts. The next thing i wanted to talk about is whats "in" next season. Pastel colors are all over Elle, teen vogue, vogue, and even in store catalogues! Pastel colored shirts will look good with any skin tone. If your tan try wearing pastel blues, and oranges. If your pale try wearing more pastel yellows, and pinks. Next i wanna talk about wearing high socks with your skirt, and no i don't mean the high socks we all wore in middle school. You can wear them with any skirt, but you HAVE to wear stockings underneath them. They should go up to your thighs, and you can wear platforms, or heels with this outfit. The last thing i wanted to talk about this week is see through silky shirts, I don't mean those ugly vivid colored ones with the hideous pattern. I'm talking about the more studious looking see through silky shirts. Every store is starting to sell them and they can look good on pretty much anyone! You can even just throw your hair up in a bun, or pony tail, put on some red lipstick, black jeans, boots, and the see through silky shirt and your ready to go!

People's Edition

 So these past couple of days some of you may have noticed that I've been interviewing people about what they think about fashion. I asked both boys and girls two questions: "What's your favorite style?" and "Whats the most annoying thing you see girls/boys wearing". Many of the boys that I've interviewed all said the same thing about what annoys them the most about what guys wear. The two main thing that annoys guys is when they wear super tight jeans, and when they sag there pants below there but. I couldn't agree more with the guys that i interviewed. I'm pretty sure most guys who wear super duper tight jeans aren't performing ballet, and I'm pretty sure there not Justin Bieber either, nor are we at a strip club, or you didn't miraculously loose weight since you put your pants on...so please pull them up, thanks. Also, when guys wear there pants below there but, it's not attractive guys. It just makes you look trashy most of the time and is a pretty big turn off to most girls. So now maybe you're wondering what kind of pants are acceptable? I'll tell you. Jeans that actually fit you, not the over sized jean, not the 2 sizes to small jean either. The jeans that actually fit your waist and leg. It's alright for guys to wear straight cut jeans, or skinny jeans (depending on there body type) but they cant be small on there body, if they are they'll end up looking dumb.What annoys the guys about girls is when they wear jeggings where you can tell there jeggings, and when they wear pounds and pounds of make-up. ***Note to all girls: YOU DON'T NEED MAKE-UP TO BE BEAUTIFUL. Another thing that guys don't like in girls AND guys is when they wear bright colors. The styles that guys like is the business look, the edgy look, the preppy look, and overall nice clothes. Now i interviewed many girls and i got a lot of different answers to those two questions. Some of them answered that they love the hipster style (I will talk about hipster clothing when it starts to get warmer out), they love the hip hop style,boho, etc. They all also said many different things that annoyed them that girls wear. They said that girls that still wear bandeau's look ridiculous, leggings as pants, and when girls just clutter on different pieces of clothing and look like a mess. Once again i agree with all of these, girls shouldn't be wearing bandeau's in this season, leggings are NOT pants, and well this blog is for those girls who clutter on random pieces of clothing. Another thing they had in common was that they want to see girls wear what fits there body best, and what looks good on there body. So next week i will do a post about what looks good on what type of body type to help you girls out.

 So this week I've noticed a lot of you still haven't realized that LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS. Leggings are meant for girls to wear underneath skirts and dresses, not for your little asses to be hanging out. Your probably saying to yourself "but leggings look good on me" NO THEY DON'T, YOU LOOK DUMB. Next i want to talk about red lipstick. I'm not sure if any of you read vogue, teen vogue, Elle, or any fashion magazines but if you do then you may have noticed a lot of the models, and celebrities are wearing red lipstick. No, not bright red lipstick that we all wore in 6th grade. A mature red color. Red lipstick can be very dangerous, but if your looking to spice up your style, then try it out! It will give your outfit a fresh, clean, mod look. Next, i wanted to let you all know that the next time your in forever 21 or where ever you shop, go for that off the shoulder shirt, but remember when wearing it not to let your bra straps hang out otherwise it defeats the purpose of the shirt and well you'll just look trashy not classy. i want to talk about is patterns...i mean i thought this was common sense but i guess not...YOU CAN'T WEAR TO DIFFERENT PATTERNS AND EXPECT TO PULL IT OFF. You'll end up looking like a train wreck. The last thing i wanted to talk about is when your wearing a dress to a sweet 16 don't wear those black heels we've all seen before, wear those heel boot wedges, or those wooden heels by Jeffery Campbell. Well i hope this weeks post has helped many of you!  Welcome to the new year! I hope you guys got new clothes and had a great chrstmas and new years!

   So first i want to say that i was at a party a few nights ago and pretty much all the girls there were wearing a dark shirt, light pants, and dark boots...can you guess the problem here? never wear light jeans with a dark shirt and dark boots. When you have a dark colored shirt and shoes just go for the dark pair of jeans, this way you dont look like your color blind. The next thing i've noticed since being back at school is that a lot of girls don't understand the difference between cream and white. There two different colors and when you wear a white top with cream boots you look dumb. Wear black boots with the white shirt NOT CREAM. Next i want to say that when your bra straps are hanging out, you look like T-R-A-S-H. Let's be real, no one wants to see that unless your a hooker and odds are if your reading this, your not a hooker. It's not that hard to fix your bra straps before you put on your shirt so there not hanging out. The last thing i want to talk about is when you wear those see through shirts that come in blue, pink, black, white, ect. please wear the same color cami as the shirt. I always see girls wearing these see through shirts that are blue and pink and they decide to wear the opposite color underneath.....honey you look like a walking fashion disaster.
